Description
This piece represents a black hole in my mind. I used foam balls, cotton, woollen, newspaper, rubber band and iron wire to make this model. The galaxy is like a sculpture representing the imaginative universe of myself.
process: Buy an old book at second hand store. Cut off the book cover. Draw a circle at the centre of the page and cut it (circle should be smaller as deeper). Then cut a ball stick at the bottom of the hole. Pull out two iron wires and stick balls, newspapers, cottons on it. For the background, I use paper to draw the galaxy on a black board. My idea came when I stayed up all night for the book on my bedside. Words in the book are full of power and encompasses all the beauty in this world. I imagined my mind as a universe.
